ESID 2026 Travel Grant Criteria and Instructions
The European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID) offers travel grants for ESID Junior Members to support their attendance at the ESID 2026 Meeting. ESID is committed to strengthening and supporting the Junior PID community and aims to expand opportunities for young members to participate in the society’s key biennial meeting, where the broad PID community comes together.
Travel grants provide up to 400 EUR for members travelling from countries within Europe and up to 750 EUR for members travelling from outside Europe.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a travel grant, applicants must:
- Have submitted at least one abstract to the Meeting.
- Be an ESID Junior Member for 2026 – Join here.
Application
Applications for travel grants are submitted through the abstract submission system. Before beginning the process, please prepare the following documents:
- Personal statement outlining your career goals (maximum 500 words).
- Curriculum vitae (CV) including a brief list of publications and/or meeting presentations.
- Letter of support from your Head of Department or equivalent, written in English and duly signed.
- Completed travel grant application form – available here.
Deadline for applications: Tuesday, 5 May 2026.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by the Travel Grants Committee after the abstract submission deadline. Grants will be awarded based on the quality of the application materials and submitted abstracts.
Notification of results: July 2026.
